For thousands of years, people have founded businesses. There is no limit to the number of niches and platforms that people use to build their dream businesses. Contrary to popular belief, the reason businesses fail is not always because there is no market demand for our ideas. (Although that may be part of it) In fact, one of the biggest challenges potential business owners face is purely financial. (For example, money needed to start a business.) So you may be wondering, “How much money do you need to start a business?”
How Much Money Do You Need To Start Investing?
Overhead costs for small businesses, especially in the United States, have never been more varied. There are business models that have low startup costs and others that require astronomical investments. (Franchises are probably the most common type of startup that many people are familiar with, yet large venture capital is one of the many hurdles potential franchise owners face.)
I designed this in-depth educational resource as a way for anyone to understand what it takes to start a business.
As the Internet is widely used and connects billions of people in a variety of ways, it has become the most common business model in the United States. (And usually the most affordable!) Even “brick and mortar” businesses that operate out of a physical building use Internet-based marketing techniques to gain exposure. Additionally, a survey posted by Entrepreneur shows that 51% of Americans prefer to shop online! (And that was in 2018)
Also, a survey reposted by OptinMonster says that 67% of internet users enjoy “window shopping” on their smartphones!
